  • Stake Baptismal Service

    Saturday, August 24, 11:00 AM Lake Michigan/Parkway Building

    If you haven’t had a chance to attend one of our stake-wide baptismal services, you will want to experience the full love of the stake for our new members. It’s a special experience. Although the stake leaders will be coordinating the service, YOU can be part of this special, monthly event. Bring your neighbors and friends to see what a baptism is like, feel the spirit and meet the missionaries.

  • Interfaith Neighborhood Cleanup

    Saturday, September 7 from 9-10 am Meet at the Islamic Society of Milwaukee 4707 S 13th St, Milwaukee

    Please join us for our annual neighborhood cleanup as we partner again with the Islamic Society of Milwaukee and Salam School. All cleaning supplies are provided along with your very own JustServe T-shirt. All ages welcome! Bring your friends and co-workers to commemorate 9/11 and the National Day of Service by giving service!

    All Summer Long our stake will be out in the community doing service. Each ward has decided how this will look for them, so ask your JustServe representative what is happening in your ward.   • THE SECRET OF THINKING CELESTIAL

    Teachings of President Russell M. Nelson

    Tuesdays 10-11:30 a.m.

    Suppose you told someone that, in your church, you are led by a living prophet.

    "Really?", they respond, "What does he tell you to do?"

    How would you answer that?

    What does he tell you to do more of? What does he tell you to do less of? What is the one thing that you absolutely must do to overcome your trials in these latter days?

    As we celebrate President Nelson's miraculous 100th birthday, our stake will begin a new adult religion class, "The Secret to Thinking Celestial: Teachings of the Prophet Russell M. Nelson". Join us September 17th at 10:00 am in the Stake Center High Council Room - or via Zoom - to study the word of the Lord we have received from President Nelson.

    The class will be held every Tuesday morning from September 17th to December 3rd from 10am to 11:30am. Email Sister Katrina Olson at knkids11@gmail.com to be added to the class email list and receive the weekly reading list and Zoom link.

    I promise you that as you study the words of President Nelson, you will be given the power to manage your adversities and trials with increased comfort, strength, and even joy. I invite you to pray to know if this class could be the blessing you need right now.

  • MISSIONARY PREP CLASS

    The stake will be holding a missionary preparation class beginning on Sunday, April 14th. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy (physical or digital) of the Preach My Gospel manual and their scriptures. Regular attendance is encouraged but not required.

    Who: all youth and young single adults turning 16 this year and older who are interested in learning more about missionary work

    When: Each Sunday, April 14th - May 26th (Mother's day excluded), 3:00pm

    Where: Lake Michigan/Parkway building Relief Society Room (9904 West Calumet Road)
